Promoting Excellence

in KISD Classrooms

The Keller ISD Education Foundation rewards hard-working students through various scholarship programs. Scholarship recipients use the funds toward tuition at an accredited college, university, community college, or trade school.

AP Scholarship Program

Nearly 7,000 high school students in Keller ISD are enrolled in advanced placement (AP) courses. After completing their coursework, the students can earn college credit by taking an AP exam. To give every student a chance to get a head start on earning college credit, we created the AP Scholarship Grant to reduce the costs of their exams.

Ashley - 2018-2020 Recipient

I have six other siblings, and I always worry about paying for all of my exams. It means a lot that you believe in me to do my best and would give me the resources to fulfill my dreams. I want to become a nurse, so I can help other people. Thank you for getting me one step closer to my dream.

Pum - 2018-2019 Recipient

Thank you for this great opportunity to help pay for the AP exams. I am happy to tell you that this scholarship will help me pay for my AP exams, and that will save my mom from having to use her credit card again to pay for fees for school. It will give us money to buy extra food for the week or even clothes for my siblings who need new jackets. Thank you so much!
