The Keller ISD Education Foundation is delighted to announce Amanda Migura as its new Chief Executive Officer. Amanda is no stranger to the foundation or the district, having served on the board of directors for the Keller ISD Education Foundation, the Keller ISD CTE Advisory Board, and various other boards and committees over the past several years. She comes to the foundation after nearly five years with Hillwood Development, where she has most recently been helping to lead efforts in connecting workforce and education in her role as the Director of Customer Experience.

“Amanda’s vision for expanding corporate connectivity for the Keller ISD Education Foundation, while also bringing awareness and knowledge to the community about the foundation and how we are here to serve them, will truly strengthen our footprint in the district and surrounding areas,” says Bhavani Kola, chair of the Keller ISD Education Foundation Board of Directors.

During her time at Hillwood, Amanda developed a year-long programming and sponsorship plan for Alliance Town Center, before joining the customer relations team in 2018.  With a heavy focus on relationships and intentionality at the forefront of every encounter, a true customer experience skillset evolved over the years.  In 2021, Amanda was key to the creation of the Student Influencers Program, assembled to connect and expose ambitious students from three local districts to a variety of professional industries and the opportunities offered there, gaining regional attention.  Prior to her time at Hillwood, Amanda spent three years at the Northwest ISD Education Foundation, where she focused her efforts on marketing and communication strategy, event execution, and donor relations.

“As a professional, a parent, and a true believer in Keller ISD, I could not be more excited to impact education in this CEO role.  I truly believe our district is a stand-out in every way, and our mission as a foundation is to enhance the opportunities offered here.  Our leaders, teachers, students, and families care so deeply and take pride to call this our home.  I am looking forward to raising the bar, building connections with donors and volunteers, and increasing the presence and accessibility of our foundation in every part of our district,” Amanda Migura said.

Amanda holds a BA in Communications and Public Relations and is also a certified Texas teacher, spending the first three years of her career as a junior high school ELA teacher.
