The Foundation is thrilled to welcome two new members to its Board of Directors! This new term began on July 1, the start of the fiscal year for the Keller ISD Education Foundation. We are fortunate to have a Board of Directors that are passionate about impacting education in Keller ISD. These additions will further strengthen the roots we’ve established in the community, and we are looking forward to seeing what great things they will do on the Foundation Board. We would also like to thank these directors who completed their service on the Board: John Hoffmann and Kristen Scalf. Their outstanding service and leadership have helped the organization grow and continue to impact students and teachers in the district.

THE KELLER ISD EDUCATION FOUNDATION WELCOMES THE FOLLOWING BOARD MEMBERS:

Gina Alexander grew up in North Texas and graduated from University of Texas at Arlington with her BS in Nursing and Texas Christian University with MS in Nursing with Clinical Nurse Leader certification. She’s worked in healthcare for over 13 years with a focus on improving patient outcomes in our community through quality improvement projects, implementing evidence-based practices and supporting direct care nurses with education and resources in the current complex healthcare environment. She has been married for 20 years and has 2 amazing daughters who attended Keller ISD schools since kindergarten; Reese (19) is a sophomore at Texas Tech University and Payton (16) is a Junior at Timber Creek High School. Her daughters are/were very involved in the KCAL Animal Science Program so the family spends a lot of time at the new Agriscience Learning Center. In her spare time, she loves hanging out with her family and friends, working out at Camp Gladiator, and watching her daughter play softball.  She is excited for the role she will play in serving and growing the Keller ISD Education Foundation.

Angela Sanchez is a seasoned nonprofit professional with more than two decades of expertise in fundraising and program development experience. She is committed to fostering opportunities for the next generation’s success and is passionate about creating positive change. She has a pivotal role as the head of a grant management team that allocates over $30 million annually in grants and scholarships. Her leadership has ensured the equitable distribution of funds and amplified the impact of numerous organizations and individuals striving for growth and education. Angela’s expertise in fundraising and program development has proven indispensable as she consistently navigates the complex landscape of philanthropy. She holds a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Los Angeles, and recently pursued a master’s degree from LSU in Organizational Leadership and Human Resource Development. Angela’s career trajectory led her through various cities, including Los Angeles, New York City, Ft. Lauderdale, and now Angela and her family have called Keller their home for the past decade.
