Dear Keller ISD Community,

It is with mixed emotions that I announce that Keller ISD Education Foundation CEO Cameka Crawford has submitted her resignation. Cameka has informed our Board of Directors she will become the executive director of the Richardson ISD Foundation beginning in January 2022.

As our Foundation’s Chairman, I can say it has been an absolute joy to work with Cameka, over the past three plus years, as she served the students and teachers of our KISD school district with excellence. We are saddened to be losing her energy, enthusiasm, and commitment, and we will most certainly miss her creativity and exemplary leadership.

At the same time, we are extremely delighted for Cameka and enormously proud she is furthering her career with a larger school district. Our Foundation’s board wants to publicly thank Cameka for all she has done for us, and we wish her the absolute best in all future endeavors.

We are currently forming a search committee to begin looking for a new CEO for the KISD Education Foundation and will be announcing more details about that process soon. In the meantime, I encourage you to join us in thanking Cameka for her outstanding service to the Keller ISD Education Foundation and wishing her well in Richardson.
